Great Britain Lose Narrowly to Germany

 Germany had taken a two goal lead late in the first half before Reading’s Simon Mantell pulled one back just before the break.  Tobias Lietz extended the Germans’ lead from close range just under ten minutes into the second half before World Young Player of the Year Ashley Jackson set up a tense finish with a trademark penalty corner goal late on.
