Club launches Men’s 7th XI side

Published by on

With the continued growth of the club, the Men’s section has found it in particular difficult to accomodate the growing number of players in it’s ranks. As a result the club has now launched a Men’s 7th XI side. The purpose of the side is to allow the adults to play fun, sociable hockey as well as offering even more of our badgers players some experience of adult hockey. As such they wont be entered into any leagues. They will just play a number of friendlies.

It’s another positive step for a club that always looks to offer hockey for everyone of all ages and ability.

The first outing of the 7th XI sees them play host to Uppingham School 5th XI at Moulton College, on the 4th February. 2pm push back.

If you don’t currently play Men’s hockey, but are looking to begin or get back into it after a number of years out, then perhaps our 7th XI team is what you’re looking for! If you’re interested please contact Tony Brennan on 07701021089 or email Tony Brennan [email protected]
