Level 1 Umpiring Course

The Level 1 Umpiring Course starts on Wednesday night and there are still spaces available for people who want to learn the rules of hockey. 

Not everyone who does the umpiring course ends up standing every Saturday bossing people around. Some people who do the course, do it because they want to know what is a stick block or what should they do in an aerial. Do you have to call for the ball in an aerial? Do you have to retreat 5 yards to give the receiver of an aerial safe space? Find out at the course starting on Wednesday. You are under no obligation to become an umpire on this course. Some people just want to learn what the rules of the game are.
