Northampton Hockey Club gains ClubFirst accreditation!

Northampton Hockey Club are delighted to announce that they have been awarded the England Hockey Board ClubFirst Accreditation. This comes following an independent Nominated Officer visit and subsequent verification of the club’s assessment file. ClubFirst Accreditation recognised as working towards providing a Safe, Effective and Child Friendly club environment.

Andy Dale, Club President said “We are proud to have been awarded this Accreditation by the England Hockey Board. At Northampton HC we pride ourselves on providing a safe and effective environment for all players. We would like to thank all of our members who were involved in this process.”

England Hockey Board are committed to supporting the development of safe, effective and child-friendly clubs and as such England Hockey would like to thank Northampton Hockey Club for the club’s dedication in this area.

Clubs achieving the ClubFirst Award are recognised as working towards providing a Safe, Effective and Child Friendly hockey environment. They also receive the CLUBMARK award. County Sports Partnerships and funding agencies are increasingly recognising these clubs and choosing to work with them as a priority. There are also a range of benefits, priority bookings and other services available to ClubFirst clubs.
