Olympic Blast Day 5

After last Saturday’s fun and competition at the Athletics Track, we are looking to finish off the “Olympic Blast” Activities with another sports packed agenda, social gathering and Award Ceremony, at Moulton, this Saturday 21 July 2012.
 
As with the other recent Junior Club Section “Olympic Blast” Activities, you are most welcome to bring-a-friend to join in. 
 
Details as follows:
 
Commencement Time:         09.00 am
 
Meet Time at Moulton:         08.45 am  (Usual Junior Training Time)  
 
Venue:                                 Moulton School Sports Complex (Training Pitch)  (Postcode NN3 7SD)
 
Required Kit:                        Bring both Black tops + Coloured tops + trainers for indoor + out.
 
Participation Fees:               £5.00 (Including Bacon Roll) or £4.00 Excluding Roll.        
 
 
All available Badgers players and Junior Members, will be able to participate and compete with each other, in a variety of sport activities. Mention has been made of a bit of rounders, maybe football, indoor unihoc / other indoor activities and don’t forget to bring your hockey sticks, shin pads, gum shields, etc. If enough interest, we may even arrange a bit of hockey !!   Some slightly younger (and older) players and willing parents, are welcome to join in. Moulton Sports Complex  shall be open to serve a selection of hot and cold drinks, whilst our barbecue gourmet chefs will  produce bacon butties, burgers, etc during the day.

This event is also open to non hockey players, so please bring a friend, a neighbour or family member to come and join in the fun. Junior groups include  young participants up to and including age 16 years. 

Please confirm by return email asap, but by Wednesday, who is available to attend, so that we can arrange catering for the event. Numbers could be limited, based on response.

N.B. This is part of the “Olympic Blast” Activities, which has been running over the last few weeks. You are all invited to join in and to obtain relevant activity participation stamps in your “Olympic Blast Passport”, which will be available on Saturday. Participants  have had the opportunity to earn bronze, silver or gold medals, based on their attendance at events over the period.
