Sport England Funding Application

Moulton School and NHC have been successful in their bid for funds for the resurfacing of the Astro Turf and the conversion of one of the tennis courts to an Astro turf pitch.

This has come after 2 years of work by the hockey club committee and Nick Sharnshieff and his staff at Moulton Leisure Centre submitting applications  to Sport England.

This will allow NHC to have a designated warm up area and to expand the capacity of the Junior section training sessions and will help to reduce the congestion before games start as teams will have pitch time for stick and ball work prior to the games on the main pitch finishing.

The club undertook to contribute to the final bill to ensure that we held an emotional stake in the pitch. 

Please congratulate Nick and his staff when you see them, at this time no start dates have been set for the resurfacing, we will notify you when these have been set.
