It has been great over the last few weeks to meet a lot of you and coach some of your kids at Moulton on Saturdays, I haven’t been able to get to the Sunday morning session yet but I have popped up to Tuesdays to watch the coaching there. I hope your kids are having fun and improving their hockey.
Club kit sales are going well and the club shop will be at Moulton School on Saturday to deliver orders and to take more orders. If you can’t make or train on Tuesdays/Sundays then please buy online and Tom will arrange deliveries. The website is www.saintshockeyshop.org.uk. We hope to come down to the other session and will let you know when this is possible.
We had a great tournament hosted by Welford HC on Sunday with 30 under 11’s and 10 under 9’s. We had a few too many and are working to rectify this by entering more teams in each tournament. Can I ask you not to attend on the day if you haven’t confirmed with Stuart in advance as five turned up that we weren’t expecting. [email protected]
We are also looking at having some more tournaments, perhaps just amongst ourselves to give the under 11’s and 9s some more game practice.
79 from 120 of our kids are now registered on the website. Those of you that haven’t need to do so. Please visit our home page and select “Apply Now”. All junior members must register to maintain our Clubmark status and to make sure we understand your child’s medical history and maintain emergency contact details. Make sure you select “Junior Member”.
Your child will need to be registered so they are able to play in the next tournament.
You can now set up a direct debit to pay membership fees through the registration process. Subscriptions will be £100 for September to June. If you wish to pay in one go then please give a cheque to the Registration Manager at training or to one of your coaches.
If your child is in the under 5s group then we still need you to register but payment is £2 per session.

We need some more volunteers , specifically to help on Tuesday to control registrations. We have an offer of a registration manager for Sunday and are chatting about it. Our junior committee also needs a parent representative to channel feedback on how we are doing. Get in touch if you can help.
Moulton Sports Complex
You may have heard that Moulton School is shutting the bar facilities from December. We are discussing this with the school and Nuffield Health who will be taking over the Complex so will keep you posted on new developments.
