Junior After School Clubs

Two new ‘After School Hockey Clubs’ have been successfully set up by Northampton Hockey Club and there are now plans to open several more soon.

Campion and Moulton Schools are providing facilities for a new initiative where we have invited their cluster primary schools to send along children to experience hockey.

The coaching is provided by experienced Level 2 coaches supported by young players from the Club’s Junior Leaders Programme.

Our programme introduces players to both the England Hockey Board Quicksticks and the Val Sabin FUNdamentals programmes.

Both After School Clubs are now firmly established with Moulton on Mondays and Campion on Fridays (4pm – 5pm). The sessions are great value at just £2.00 per session for an hour of educational fun and games. No pre-booking is necessary as parents can bring their children along on the day, although more information is available from Martin Wilkes.
