The League Hockey Campaign starts at Moulton tomorrow! (20/09/14)

The Ladies 2s, Men’s 1s and Mixed 1s are all at Moulton tomorrow for their first league games of the season.

At 10.30am, the Ladies 2s play host to Oundle 1s at Moulton College Water Base (Gate 4). After relegation last season Clare Sibley’s side will be looking to bounce back this season. With a strong looking squad they’ll fancy their chances to get their campaign off to a winning start.

11.30am sees our Ladies 3s travel to Wrenn School to play Wellingborough. With a number of promising youngsters coming into the squad, this should be a real season of exciting development for the side.

At 12pm, the Men’s 1s face Harborne at Moulton College Water Base (Gate 4). With some good pre-season performances behind them, and the new signing of Joe Skinner from Wellingborough, they’ll once again go into the Midlands Premier Division campaign in confident mood. Last season saw Saints 1s do the double over Harborne. Let’s hope for more of the same tomorrow!

2.30pm and our Mixed 1st XI travel to Long Buckby. With a number of students returning to Northampton University, the side should be at almost full strength.

5pm sees the match of the day! Our Mixed 2nd XI vs Old Moults at Moulton College Sand Base (Gate 3). This is always a very evenly fought match with both sides displaying a wealth of attacking talent.
