Juniors Under 8s and under 10s

Saints hosted the under 8 and 10s Northants tournament today with teams from Kettering, Towcester, Rugby, Market Harborough and Saints coming to Moulton on Super Sunday to complement the Masters and Ladies first team welcoming St Albans. With the 9 under 8 teams and 8 under 10 teams the pitch was full of 140 children playing for their clubs. Saints under 8s brought 3 teams and enjoyed the 4 a side format playing some great hockey and scoring many goals. The Saints under 10s won most of their games only losing when they payed each other and put into practice many of the skills they learnt on Saturdays and Sundays, especially the Coach Cochrane “roll – out” which was widely seen in several teems.
