Volunteer Roles for 2018/19 Season
As we begin to plan for next season (2018/19), we’ll be looking for a number of volunteers to replace current committee members and captains or just to help ease the burden on the workload of our current volunteers.
If you feel you can benefit the committee and the club through any of these jobs OR in any other way, then please step forward.
We currently have over 60 volunteers involved in the running of our club. The more volunteers we can get in board, the easier it becomes for all of us at the club, and the more we can invest as a committee in longer term projects.
Vacant Roles available:
1. Senior Section Club Secretary: from confirming pitch bookings with Moulton College, to liaising with England Hockey on club affiliation. 4. Communications Team Assistants: we need people to help spread club news through social media, updating our website and through editing and supplying match reports for both our own website and to send to local media (local newspapers etc). 5. Web Master/Tech Support: from time to time we have issues with our club website which are beyond our basic knowledge levels within the committee. If you come from an IT background or are well clued up on website maintenance then we’d be keen to have you on board as our internal IT help! 6. Social Committee: We’re keen to offer a wider range of events to make us a far more sociable friendly club. Our current committee needs some assistance in getting such events up and running.
