‘Club Statement | National Lockdown #3’

Published by on

Here we go again… Lockdown #3 as announced by the Prime Minister on Monday evening and coming into law as of today (Wednesday 6th January).

Having moved into Tier 4 on Boxing Day, We had planned to continue as normal with the Junior section programme, with a momentary pause on the Senior programme. However, in light of the National Lockdown all hockey activity has been suspended for the foreseeable future.

These restrictions are expected to last until the middle of February with regular reviews. The Executive and Senior Committees will meet when necessary during this time to plan for another return to hockey. We also await updates from Regional and County leagues regarding the 2020/2021 season.

Should you have any questions or queries, please get in touch with your section representative, captain or coach. These people can be found on the website under ‘About the Club’ and ‘Meet the Committee and Coaches’.

Stay Safe, Stay Fit, Stay Healthy.
