M1 drew 1 – 1 with Barton

Dominant first half saw a neat goal scored from the top of the D from Stu Clark.

Second half was a combative affair with end to end passes of play from both sides.

Barton stole the draw from their skipper on the 55 min mark.

Saints saw the game out despite having decent posession.

Home to Telford next weekend.

MoM: Sam Afari

Khalsa L3’s 2- Saints L2’s 4

The ladies 2s were away against Khalsa 3s today, they started off strongly using their pace and width to their advantage. Throughout the game Hattie K ran the baseline giving the 2s many opportunities and coming away with three goals in the first half and conceding one. The second half they came battling for more with Katie F using her pace to drive down the wing for saints too score again and finished with a 4-2 win! Goal scores: Elise Ramoo, Dani Austin, Grace Moulton and Hattie Kendrick. Well deserved MoM to goalkeeper Bella and Katie F, DoD to Maisie Harte for the splits.

Beeston M5s 3-5 Saints M2s

Chris O’Rielly opened the scoring for Saints before Hamish French doubled the lead shortly after. The first half ended with Saints on the back foot and Beeston one back before half time. The Beeston momentum continued in the second half with an early equaliser. Saints took back control of the game with a breakaway Heath MacGregor goal, another Dan Bentley bullet from a penalty corner and a tidy strike from Harry Fidler. Beeston got a last minute consolation goal after a penalty corner strike deflected off of two Saints defenders before beating debutant and Man of the Match Dave Connell in goal.

Men’s 5s 7-0 Coventry & North Warwick 3s

After a tough few games, the Men’s 5s were ready for a good result.

Men’s 5s started the gaming really strong against a 10-Man C&NW, scoring 3 really early goals, which allowed the Men’s 5s to enjoy their hockey.

Some brilliant play from the Northampton Saints Youngsters, Harry Kinsella & Harry Street bolting down the wings, Monty Christoe with some awesome keeping and Luke Perry & Charlie Bourne playing some awesome hockey from the back.

Game finished 7-0, with Hatricks from Rob Tee & Harry Kinsella.

Great result to give us momentum for our BIG DERBY GAME against the Mens 4s! #TheComeBack
