Hockey Heroes is a fun and welcoming programme aimed at children aged 4-7 that aims to develop both their physical and character ‘superpowers’, unlocking the hero inside them!

More specifically, Hockey Heroes is a 8 week hockey programme aimed at beginners that not only focuses on helping children develop some physical hockey superpowers such as dribbling, passing and goal scoring, but also places as much emphasis on character development superpowers including teamwork, communication, perseverance and respect.

Our aim is for children to have lots of fun, experience lots of success, and feel like a hero! This will boost their confidence, and ensure a positive experience of physical activity and sport that will have a beneficial effect in the rest of their life.

For new Heroes it costs £40 for a minimum of 10 for their first term, then £32 and then £25 for term 3. You get a minimum 10  weeks of sessions, 2 sticks, a ball and a personalised t-shirt.  (you pay for 8 weeks but we are keeping an extra 2 to cope with bad weather).

We have just booked the courses for 2022/2023 season for new and exisiting members to sign up to – links are below

• Term 1 – 30th September to 16th December – Taster sessions on 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd September
• Term 2 –  27th January to 30th March– Taster sessions on January 6th, 13th, 20th 
• Term 3 –  – 11th May to 29th June – Taster sessions on Apr 20th, 27th and May 4th
