England Masters event

Our first games in the England master’s event will take place at Moulton School on 10th October  for both the ladies, over 35’s and the mens, over 40’s. The ladies will play at 11.30  against Edgbaston, with the men following on at 1.30pm against Solihull Blossomfield. Club Training starts tomorrow!

Don’t forget club training officially starts tomorrow night! Junior training from 6-7.30pm. Senior training from 8-9.30pm. Junior training is also running on Saturdays: 9 – 10.30am All at Moulton Sports Complex. See you there!

Club Open Day a Success!

Saturday 21st August saw the first Northampton Hockey club open day. The aim of this was to provide both a fun day for the club, and give potential new members the opportunity to see what the club was about and join in with us on the hockey pitch. Ladies’ 3’s and 4’s training

Training for the ladies 3’s and 4’d starts tomorrow, 24.08.2010 at 8pm on the Moulton School sand based pitch.  Please do your best to attend this session so that you and your team mates can make the most of the chance we have here in pre-season training. Start the seson as we mean to go on.    

Update on Club Open Day – 21st August

Following discussions with Moulton SC, we now have access to more facilities on the day: The tennis courts will be open all day for members (new and existing) to come up and play a bit of tennis. And the sports hall will also be open, where we’ll have exclusive use of the bouncy castle, and the rest of the hall to play unihoc Open Day Flyer

Cassidy stars for British Colleges

After travelling upto Stirling on the Friday, 2 matches were played on the Saturday (1 in the morning & the other in the afternoon). The normal squad of 22 players had been reduced down to 16 due to unavailabilty (probably partly due to the distance needing to be travelled), with 3 of those 16 players being goalkeepers, so only 13 outfield players!   Liam played mainly left or right wing & after a poor team performance in the 1st game Read more…
