‘Saints club run #2 – intro to night trail running’
What: Night time trail run! When: Thursday 13/1/22, 8pm start Where: Upton country park, meet at 7.45pm Cromwell Cottage (kislingbury) Distance: 5km This is a casual night time trail run around a safe section of the Upton Country Park. At around 5km it gives you a chance to learn how to run at night using head torches over fairly flat and predictable trails. Some parts will be very muddy so be prepared for technical sections. Covid Contingency Plan
Fingers crossed we won’t need them, but should there be another lockdown we have come up with three plans to keep us all playing hockey. These have been imaginatively entitled Plan A, Plan B and Plan C. Plan A is do nothing, keep playing, no lockdown. Simples. Christmas Hockey News
Not many Santa hats in view today, but the Ladies 2s came up with an early Christmas present as they beat Coventry & North Warwick 1-0. Excellent build-up play and transferring of the ball led to a good win, with Ruby Curtis-Free scoring the winning goal. Sunday Morning Hockey
Sunday Morning Hockey Ladies 1s had no game yesterday, so it was up to the 2s to take up the mantle of Northampton’s premier ladies hockey team and they did so in style with a comfortable 6-0 victory over Daventry with some excellent high line transfer play. England Hockey Game Management System As you may be aware, England Hockey Adult Leagues are now being administered using the new Game Management System (GMS). All players participating in England Hockey Leagues now have to be registered (so you can appear on match sheets) so you must set up an individual account.
