Summer League May to July
NHC run a mixed Summer league for 5 years now and it continues to be a success with teams entering from other local clubs. Its fun, competitive hockey but not too serious and runs from May to July at gate 4 at Moulton College.
There is an A league and a B league which provide suitable playing opportunities for all those in the adult sides. Occasional players are very welcome to join a team. We have 6 teams run by the club or club members.
Ideally those playing in the A league should play in the NHC Men’s 1st – 3rd XI, or Ladies’ 1st – 3rd with some exceptions. the B league is a great developmental opportunity for juniors who have just made their senior debut in the winter teams and will provide an excellent springboard to climbing the sides. If parents are unsure they should discuss this with their junior player and the winter teams captain. We run this league on a Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evening between 7.00pm and 9.30pm at Moulton College, Gate 4.
