Camps Schedule for 2023/2024 season
Junior Fun Camps for 5 to 14 and Transition Camps for 12-16 year olds
We are pleased to announce that we have added the years dates to our calendar this year with camps in October. February, April, May and August to follow
All our camps are 3 day Junior camps which have been created and aimed at players of all abilities from the ages of 6-14. We will of course have inter camp groups to better match players with their abilities, but also to ensure that they all have as much fun as possible within the camps.
The camps will be made up of a relaxed welcome session, and then we will enter into some fun and games based activities to try and teach some new skills to the players, or add a new dynamic to their game, where they will move around the coaches and meet some different faces, maybe introduce them to their coach for next season! Then we have our lunch break which will be a hot meal provided by the college catering staff. Lunch is followed by a short amount of free time where the players can try new skills, or anything they would like to learn that we haven't already planned, and the this is all finished up with a whole camp tournament where we mix all of the players and create an entertaining and engaging end to a fun day of hockey!
Times for the fun camps are 9:00am - 4:00pm. Please do not just drop your children off before 9:00am and just leave them. Even though there may be some coaches there, they will be busy getting ready for the day ahead. It is also much appreciated for a prompt pick up at 4:00pm. If this is not possible, please let a coach know so we can prepare for this. Also Parents are more than welcome to come from 3:30pm to watch some of the tournament play!
Pricing starts at £32 per day which includes a hot dinner in the college cafeteria, multiple day and sibling discounts are also available.
NHC are offering a full days camp aimed at club or school players who aged 12-15 and who are committed to developing their hockey, moving up school and/or club teams. The Camp will be run by Lisa Letchford , Olympian, England U18 Girls coach, Saints Development Director and Head of Hockey at Framlingham College.
The camp will focus on Technical development, Improved Game understanding and Tactical Knowledge covering In-Possession, Transition and Out of Possession Themes.
The coaches alongside Lisa will be NHC club coaches and will suit players who are determined to develop themselves and elevate the level of hockey that they play at.
A hot lunch will be provided
