Promotions!

The Ladies 3s (under the captaincy of Steph Brennan) fought hard this season. With a points total that had to be adjusted, they finished second on the table after Olney. By beating Kettering Ladies on Saturday they secured their promotion and go on to play in Division 1. Hearty congratulations to all the Ladies who have fought hard to get there.
The World Famous Fighting Sixes have been working on a promotion for 3 years. Finishing 3rd in 2010 and 2011 (after failing in the last few games), it looked like 2012 was going to be more of the same. But, in a gutsy performance against Warwick they walked away with 3 points. The final game was going to end in one of three outcomes: no points and finish 3rd; 1 point and finish 2nd; and 3 points and finish 1st as champions. They did it as champions!
